I am a life-long learner continuing to study many disciplines to infuse curiosity and fresh approaches into my therapy practice.
I am a student and certified teacher of Iyengar yoga, and have over 20 years experience as a University professor and researcher studying human behavior.
From my own body-centered practices, I recognize many emotional problems stem from inadequate nervous system regulation. I have completed the Advanced year in Somatic Experiencing (SE), basic training in EMDR and use present and body-centered therapies to move beyond talk therapy to help you learn effective skills to cope with life difficulties.
I use depth psychology and dream work to help uncover unconscious motivators and help you transform fears into strengths to make positive life changes.
